Once again I am still surprised at how connected I am to the stuff I have. I'm going to repeat, I wish I had just done the minimalism challenge in one day, and just got rid of it all in one go. I think that week four could be the hardest, as I am going to have to start making choices on things that I really have an emotional bond with.
I have to say, my lady has shown herself as a massive cheat with this challenge, and this week has just got rid of 7 random bits of wood. She also tried to count individual nail polishes (that came as a kit) as single items! After a brief argument, it was agreed that that only counted as one... if she keeps this cheating up a forfeit is going to have to be paid (don't hate the player, hate the game - the girlfriend)
Steps are still going smoothly, went for a run on Wednesday, and did 7 miles in total. I went from running every day in July to only running 5 times this month, so I felt every single step of that 7 miles! My lady is still struggling and ended up one day having to do an awful lot of walking in the flat at 11 pm. Next week will be a big challenge for her as she is away at her family, so I will be on her over WhatsApp to keep going. But she also will be looking after a holy terror 4-year old, so that might help a bit...

Next week is the last week, so we'll see how that goes, then give you all a round up of our thoughts on this first challenge.
